There are six vital body metrics that you should monitor, at least once in a year:

1. Blood Pressure: It’s best close to 80/120

2. Body Weight: Try to keep Body Mass Index (BMI) of 25 or less

3. Bad Cholesterol (LDL – it collects on the walls of your blood vessels) (mg/ dL): It’s best under 100

4.Good Cholesterol (HDL – it helps remove LDL from your arteries) (mg/ dL): It’s best over 40 (over 60 is even better)

5. Triglyceride (These are the main constituents of of body fat in humans and animals) (mg/ dL): It’s best under 150

6. Fasting Blood Sugar (to diagnose diabetes) (mg/ dL): It’s best under 100
