Creating happy thoughts

Happiness is a state that provides a sort of knowledge. Call it enlightenment or wisdom. Happiness helps people see things more clearly.

In the opposite sense sorrow is a sort of darkness or gloominess. This gloominess hinders people’s vision to see clearly.

Tugade & Fredrickson experimented in 2011 at how happiness or other positive emotions affect people’s thought patterns. They found that mentally happy/optimistic people tend to approach the world and its problems with curiosity rather than resignation, and are consequently able to better handle adversity and are generally broadminded.

Even if you’ve no reason to be happy at the moment, let us create one. You can at least listen to music and change your mood. That’s what I’m doing right now #FeelHearty
